The patient was admitted to Labor and Delivery and pregnancy loss was confrmed by ultrasound. The options were reviewed in detail and the patient elected induction with the agent described in the findings. For pain management, the patient elected general endotracheal. The time from induction to completion is described in the findings. A uterine curret was used to completely empty the uterus. This was performed under ultrasound guidance.
Ultrasound was used to confirm complete uterine emptying. Good hemostasis uterine contraction was confirmed. The products of conception were sent to pathology.
The patient was then transferred out of labor and delivery in excellent condition.
